Kenneth W. Van Blarcom began his career in the antiques and fine art business in 1975 at Shreve, Crump and Low, Co. in Boston, serving as an associate in the Antique Department before leaving to start his own antique and appraisal business in the town of Holliston, Massachusetts.

Van Blarcom joined the Robert W. Skinner, Auction Co. in 1979, becoming the director of the Boston office. Three years later he established Kenneth W. Van Blarcom Auctioneers and Appraisers, first in Sherborn and then later in South Natick, Massachusetts.

Ken maintains a quality antique shop on Rte. 16, across from the historic Bacon Free Library in South Natick. He provides occassional auctioneering services for area auction houses as well as for non-profit charities. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, having earned a BA in Anthropology and Art History.
